A perfect complement to the lake-based activities on offer from Titilaka, this full day explores the coastline and peninsula nearby, taking in the scenery, people and history of the region. Learn about the pre-Incan legends that tell tales of the importance of the lake in early times, meet local communities and interact with them with your guide, enjoy a spot of birdwatching, and explore ancient archaeological sites. The landscapes here are truly breathtaking, and lend themselves to some rewarding walking and mountain biking - but it's possible to enjoy the day by vehicle, too, if you prefer. Lunch will be enjoyed as a picnic with wonderful views over the lake.
