Nestled in the dunes of the Wahiba Sands, Desert Nights Camp is a perfect retreat away from the main tourist centre of Muscat.

The camp has a dining and recreation area where nights can be spent relaxing after a sumptuous barbecued feast with a glass of mint tea. The restaurant serves International, Indian, Chinese, Arabic and Continental cuisine and there is a bar with an exotic range of cocktails and satellite TV.
By day, there are a range of activities including dune bashing, quad biking and camel rides through the desert. You can also explore the moonlit skies with the camp's telescope.
As the camp is only 15km into the desert, it doesn't perhaps feel as secluded as alternative options, but this is definitely the best choice for families with younger children, and for couples looking for an adventure without having to compromise on comfort.
