Cooking Curries in Yangon
The tour starts with a trip to a local market in Hlaing Township. Rarely visited by tourists, this provides a lovely insight into daily local life as with your guide you will pick the produce needed for the cooking class with an array of meat, herbs and vegetables.
From here you will transfer to the cooking centre where you will meet with your local cook who will help take you through the traditional Burmese cooking methods on how to create chicken and beef curry, shan noodles and a traditional tea leaf salad. Of course if you have any dietary restrictions we will be able to tailor the cooking class to accommodate this.
