Shangri-La Le Touessrok is in a lovely position on the east coast of Mauritius on the tranquil and beautiful bay of Trou d'Eau Douce.

The resort's suites, pools, restaurants and bars, Chi Spa, S - Tennis Academy and the T-Club kids club are located on the mainland but guests have access to two islands across the water from the resort: Ile aux Cerfs, with its spectacular championship golf course designed by Bernard Langer and Ilot Mangénie, a truly secluded retreat and exclusive to guests. Both are a short ride by private boat.

There are also two lunchtime restaurants and bars on Ile aux Cerfs as well as a huge variety of water sports including windsurfing, snorkelling and parasailing. The second island Ilot Mangénie, also has a restaurant.

Shangri-La Le Touessrok's beautifully designed accommodation ranges from double rooms and junior suites to three bedroom beach villas. Spreading from the mainland onto a separate island (joined by a short bridge) all of the 200 rooms and suites are sea-facing. There are excellent facilities for families including a family pool, a kids and teens club, babysitting services and connecting rooms. Children under 12 years receive a complimentary stay and benefit from 50% off in all restaurants as well as Le Bazar and the Kids Club offering complimentary meals for children under 6 years of age.

The hotel has four restaurants; Le Bazar - the main restaurant with show kitchens offering food from around the world, Kushi the signature Japanese concept, Republik - with a beach club feel and Safran which features classical Indian Cuisine. Guests can also enjoy the 'dining by design' concept which is ideal for a private memorable celebration on the beach.

Shangri-La Le Touessrok also offers an array of activities and sports on land, which include four floodlit tennis courts. The resort also has a jogging track and offers bocci ball, volleyball, aqua-gym lessons, badminton and football. Golfers will be spoilt for choice with two spectacular golf courses; Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club and Anahita Golf Club, along with complimentary green fees and return transfers. 

The waters, reefs and southern trade winds of the Indian Ocean also provide for the very best in diving, snorkelling, sailing, water-skiing and windsurfing.

Le Touessrok is on the east coast of Mauritius, on the Trou d'Eau Douce bay. It can be accessed by a 50 minute drive from the airport. The east coast of Mauritius is dotted with several lagoons and tiny cove-beaches ensuring shelter from the cool southeast trade winds. Mauritius is located in the Indian Ocean, it is situated off the southeast coast of the African continent, and is 900km east of Madagascar.
