Andasibe

Home to Madagascar’s largest species of lemur - the indri - and the only place in the country to view them, the Andasibe-Mantadia National Park is a rich ecosystem of montane rainforest and lakes surrounding ‘Lemur islands’ where you can get incredibly close to these playful creatures. Bamboo lemur, black and white ruffed lemur, brown lemur and woolly lemur are also resident in the park.

Walking trails of differing lengths wind through the forest, and a visit to Lemur Island is a must for anyone wanting to observe up-close the cheeky character of these adorable animals!
