Floating in the Dead Sea
The Dead Sea, at 424 metres below sea level, is the lowest inland point on Earth. It has been hailed as a health resort since the times of Herod the Great and its minerals are fantastic for the skin.
A humerous word of warning - the extreme buoyancy of the water can make suddenly flipping over a hazard! Therefore whilst it is possible to lie back and read the paper or a magazine, any valuable books or electronics are best left on the shore!
