Amanohashidate
Stretched along the Miyazu Bay scenic area, Amanohashidate is often revered as the "Kyoto by the Sea" and ranked alongside Japan's top three most scenic views.
The beautiful sandbar easily steals the limelight here, but there also picturesque temples and a shrine dotting the coastal area. Most visitors also combine visit to the Ine village where there are boat houses lining up the bay.
