Adjacent to sister property Hotel Rodella, the owners aimed to create an upscale private chalet with the benefits of a superb boutique hotel service. The chalet team pride themselves on attention to detail, a high level of service and an extensive local knowledge, which all combine to enhance the guest experience.
Spread across two floors, this stylish chalet has a spacious lounge with log fire, kitchen, and BBQ, four ensuite bedrooms, entertainment room and private spa area. Amenities include Wi-Fi, bathrobes, bathing products, slippers and flip-flops, fresh flowers, and wood for the fire. Chalet Sellaronda sleeps up to 8 guests in style, while groups of up to 12 can be accommodated by combining an adjacent chalet if required. Furnishings are elegantly rustic and modern, with warm woods and a neutral palette. The large picture windows make the most of the stunning mountain views from the living area and bedrooms. The entertainment room is a great place to relax, with a pool table, dart board, bar, home cinema area with an Xbox and Netflix, along with a surround sound system. Guests also have the use of a private spa with a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, wellness shower and outdoor Jacuzzi. Chalet guests are free to use the facilities of Hotel Rodella, which can be accessed through a connecting door on the ground floor. Additional facilities available at the hotel include an in/outdoor swimming pool, gym, Finnish sauna, hammam, water beds, infrared loungers, and an ice fountain. Beauty and massage treatments can also be booked.
Along with the excellent concierge service and daily housekeeping, rates also include an extensive daily breakfast buffet, tea and coffee, and a welcoming drink and canapés serving, as an introduction to the chalet and the wider area. A five-course evening meal can be served in the chalet at an additional cost, if requested during the summer season. During the winter season, afternoon tea and a chef and butler to prepare and serve a daily 5-course dinner are included. Located in Selva di Val Gardena in the Dolomites, the chalet is close to both hiking trails and lift facilities. During the winter season, the chalet provides a transfer service to and from the lifts which are a 3-minute drive away. During the summer, the village is a pleasant 20-minute walk. Innsbruk Airport is a 2-hr drive, while Verona Airport is 2-hrs 40-minutes away.
