Old Jerusalem: Mount of Olives

Jerusalem, Israel

Visit Mount of Olives with panoramic city view, Church of All Nations and its Jewish cemetery.

Start from the Mount of Olives, with its world’s oldest and largest Jewish cemetery. You can also get a bird-eye view of the Old City from here.

You will also visit Church of All Nations (Basilica of the Agony), built between 1919 and 1924, as funded by multiple countries. The altar to the entrance area is honoured to Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico; its middle section is dedicated to Italy, France, Spain and the United Kingdom; while the right section honours Belgium, Canada, Germany and the USA; the mosaics in the apses were donated by Ireland, Hungary and Poland; whereas the crown around the bedrock is a gift from Australia.
