Dead Sea is an incredible phenomenon. At 431 metres below sea level and salinity of 10 times the ocean, a visit to the Dead Sea is a once-in-a-lifetime experience as you float in the mineral-rich waters.
An important area in the history of religion, both the Bible and Quran makes numerous references to the Dead Sea. It is believed to be the very site where once the city of Sodom stood.
