Domaine Les Crayeres
  • An elegant chateau style property built in 1904 for Louise Pommery, Domaine les Crayeres oozes historic French charm and character, from sweeping marble staircases to rich heavy fabrics and original oil paintings.

  • An ideal base for a decadent few days, located at the starting point of the quaint 'Route de Champagne' scenic vineyard drive, just minutes away from the major houses of Pommery, Veuve Cliquot and Tattinger.

  • Dine in the gourmet two Michelin starred restaurant Le Parc overlooking the topiary-framed grounds for the finest example of refined French cuisine.

  • As one would expect from one of the finest hotels in the region, the celebrated wine list boasts more than 600 champagne labels including vintage and prestige blends.

The hotel sits within its own seven hectares of parkland offering a peaceful haven and charming setting away from the town centre of Reims. By day you can wander around the estate or head off to one of the many champagne houses in the region for a tasting, even head next door; the chateau was built in the early nineteen hundreds for the Pommery family so it is not a coincidence that the hotel sits next door to the Pommery Champagne House.

The hotel's grand 'Chateau' exterior has been lovingly and expertly restored through the decades, the interiors offer 20 beautifully appointed rooms blending classical French style with modern comforts. Rooms are generously sized and individually decorated, many featuring large fireplaces and views over the park. Bathrooms are generously sized with most offering large walk in showers and separate bathtubs.

The hotel offers two main dining options; the gourmet Le Parc offers fine dining in a stunning setting overlooking the park. Based in a separate building in the hotel grounds is Le Jardin brasserie, offering a relaxed dining experience in more modern surroundings. La Rotonde bar boasts a selection of the finest vintage champagnes and hosts occasional jazz nights in the relaxed setting of the hotel grounds.
