Sofitel Legend Old Cataract enjoys a reputation as one of the most luxurious places to stay in Aswan. A former Victorian 19th century palace, it has been tastefully restored to its former glory by blending Egyptian and European influences. Perfectly located on the edge of the Nile, it commands sweeping views of Elephantine Island and is within walking distance of Aswan’s top attractions.
