The Calipso Galapagos with its spacious dive deck, modern comfortable accommodation, and experienced crew and diving guides, offers the chance for the diving expedition of a lifetime. While very few diving vessels operating in these waters can claim to be truly “luxurious”, the Calipso certainly ranks amongst the best available and gives her passengers access to sites previously only open to scientists and filmmakers.
The all-important dive deck features a rinse tank, large camera table, dry changing area, hot showers, individual dive stations with storage, wetsuit racks and a bathroom. For those travelling light, there is complimentary use of snorkel gear, wetsuits, and an underwater camera. With some of the most experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate guides working in the Galapagos Islands, you will gain a deep appreciation of both the geology of the area, as well as its bird, marine, and wildlife.
The Calipso features 10 comfortable cabins for a maximum of 16 guests. Each is fitted with comfortable beds, modern furnishings, classic navy and white colour scheme, and panoramic windows. Along with an ensuite shower room with hair dryer, amenities include Wi-Fi, TV, air-conditioning, safety deposit box, and plenty of power sockets and dedicated USB points.
The sun deck features a Jacuzzi, BBQ station, al fresco bar, lounging and dining areas, while the comfortable lounge and relaxed dining room, offer sweeping views of the wildlife and islands. The service is excellent, and the 10-strong crew are always on hand to help with all your needs.
The Calipso offers a range of diving itineraries that includes the islands of Darwin, Wolf and Marchena, as well as the western sites of Cabo Douglas, Cabo Marshall, and Punta Vicente Roca.
