Anna Harlow

London Office

Originally from New Zealand, I always knew I wanted to venture over to the Northern Hemisphere at some point. This opportunity came in 2008 when I had saved up enough money to buy a one-way ticket to London. My idea was to spend two years working and travelling through Europe but plans change and nine years later, I am still here!

I started with a quick taste of Europe tour, which only urged me to save more money and try to see the rest of the world! Since starting at Scott Dunn, my bucket list has doubled in length and I am still learning of new places every day.

Travel nuggets

  • If heading to America, be sure to catch a live sports match, entertainment value will not let you down!

  • For Peter Jackson fans, a visit to Matamata on New Zealand's North Island is essential. Book a tour to go through Hobbiton and even have a drink or lunch in the Green Dragon!

  • Take a day to experience the Atlas mountains. A guided walk through the Berber villages is a wonderful way to escape the chaos of the city.

  • The Skyview bar at the top of the Burj Al Arab is the perfect place to unwind and take in the view of Dubai, all while sipping on impressive cocktails!

My hot picks

Dar Zemora, Marrakech Palmeraie, Morocco

Beautiful hotel away form the hustle and bustle. Only 5 rooms all in traditional Moroccan decor, a great choice for short-haul sunshine. Be sure to book a hammam experience.

Six Senses Laamu, Laamu, Maldives

My ultimate pick for barefoot luxury, For couples, book a day on a remote island where you will be left with nothing but a gourmet picnic and a mobile phone.

It looks like you are in the USA
