We design each itinerary around you, so this suggested itinerary is a starting point that we can tweak or transform into something completely bespoke to you. To start planning your vacation

Embark on a food-lover’s adventure to discover the fragrant spices of Thailand. Begin in Bangkok, the melting pot of cultures where you can sample delectable cuisines from Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia. Get a taste of local flavor in Ayutthaya and explore the vibrant markets of Chiang Mai before retiring to the beach to whip-up some delicacies by a jungle waterfall.

  1. Days 1-4: Bangkok

Bangkok is a foodie paradise, overflowing with dining options ranging from Michelin starred delights, to authentic street food cooked in front of your eyes over a paraffin stove. With our passionate guides, take a trip into the historic neighborhood of Bangrak to sample some of the best local snacks in the city, served from family run stalls which line the streets of this suburb. The chefs are often keen to chat, so make sure to pick up some new tricks to try at home. For a change of scenery, we will also take you on an exciting tour of the bustling Chinatown, traveling by tuk tuk and stopping often to sample a new dish. We also recommend a half day at the floating markets outside of the city. Here you will be able to see locals trading and haggling for fresh produce and get a glimpse of true local life.

Accommodation: COMO Metropolitan Bangkok (3 nights)

  2. Days 4-6: Ayutthaya, Thailand

A short drive from Bangkok is the historic city of Ayutthaya, now ruined. Spend a day exploring by foot, golf buggy and even cable car as you discover the temples and palaces of this abandoned former capital. Lunch will be served at The Wine Ayutthaya, a fine dining restaurant on the banks of the mighty Chao Phraya river, and will include a welcome glass of wine.

    Accommodation: Sala Ayutthaya (2 nights)

  3. Days 6-9: Chiang Mai

Head back to Bangkok by road, and a short flight will take you to the cultural north of the country, to Chiang Mai. This authentic town is a firm favorite of most people who visit Thailand, and it’s not hard to see why. With your guide you will be able to explore the glittering temples of the city and discover some true northern Thai or ‘Lanna’ street food in the famous night market. Lanna cuisine tends to be less spicy than southern Thai food, making the most of evocative flavors such as lemongrass and galangal.

    Accommodation: Tamarind Village (3 nights)

  4. Days 9-12: Khao Lak

Your last three blissful nights in Thailand will be spend relaxing on the beach, soaking up some rays and ruminating on your adventure. We suggest you take the time to indulge in a cooking class and combine your new knowledge with your existing skills to create some mouth-watering delicacies before you head home.  Although almost all resorts will offer cooking classes, we recommend the Sarojin near Phuket, and their fabulous jungle cookery lesson which takes place at the foot of a cascading waterfall. The perfect place to finish off a perfect vacation.

    Accommodation: The Sarojin (3 nights)
