Spend the day with a local expert and learn about their specific field, as well gaining an insider's perspective of the country.

The day's activities usually include a walking tour, or visit to a site or district which the expert is particularly knowledgeable about. Many of the hosts are authors, and so after spending a day with them you will also go home with a copy of their book, so the learning does not need to stop here!

As well as authors, the distinguished hosts also include experts in art, travel, history and politics. There are even a few TV personalities! The whole experience very much depends on your interests and what you would like to get out of the day.
