Mhondoro Safari Lodge has recently been completely revamped to include a newly built main lodge and separate villa. Located in a non-malarial reserve, this is the perfect spot for a family safari, with exceptional wildlife, family suites, and all of the sought-after Big 5 in abundance. There's even a private villa that sleeps 6 if you're looking for a really exclusive experience.
A particularly special feature of the lodge is it's new underground waterhole hide, accessed via a 60m tunnel leading into the main lodge. This will allow you to get right up close to the wildlife and take some incredible photos from a safe location.
The suites are stylish and thoughtfully designed, each with an ensuite bathroom with bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower, and all with a lovely balcony area overlooking the waterhole. Fireplaces in the rooms keep them warm during the cooler months and there's air conditioning to keep temperatures cool in the summer.
The cuisine is fresh, healthy and delicious, with modern twists on favorite dishes. The lodge has been created with every luxury thought of, such as an amazing new state of the art spa and gym for anyone wanting some relaxing treatments or to work off some steam. Anyone wanting to enjoy a bit of adventure can also take advantage of their new star bed, located away from the lodge, on a safely elevated platform, where you can enjoy a night under the stars listening to the sounds of the bush around you.
