Casa Nalum is an exceptional fully-catered villa sleeping up to twelve guests, located on a narrow spit of land with a gorgeous white sand beach and breathtaking views out across the water. In front of you is the Caribbean, where the reef is just a swim away. Behind, a turquoise lagoon offers access to a system of ancient Maya canals and ruins.
The secluded villa has soaring thatched roofs in the traditional Maya style, and low-impact technologies power the electricity, air-conditioning and water systems. There are five guest rooms together with a delightful living area, all breezily spacious and well-furnished. Enjoy open views to the sea or climb onto the roof terrace for a memorable sunset. Food is expertly prepared three times a day, and a maid, butler and gardener keep everything ticking over. The villa also has a pool.
While you are here, there are a variety of excursions on offer. Visit the nearby ruins of Tulum, look for spider monkeys and manatees in the Sian Ka’an Reserve, snorkel with turtles, build a driftwood fire on the beach, or enjoy a massage by the sea. There is also a private dinghy for rent which is a great way of exploring the lagoon. Or simply stay in and watch a movie on the 120-inch cinema screen.
