Set in the South Tyrol, amidst the Sassolungo, Puez and the Sella Massif mountains, Pine Lodge Dolomites is the first full-service luxury chalet of its kind in Selva Gardena. It enjoys a prime south facing position, with views over the village and the towering peaks beyond. The vision of British interior designer Susanna Scott and her Italian husband, Georg Planker, a successful hotelier, they have combined their experience and skills into creating a truly stunning chalet with exceptional service. Custom built, Pine Lodge mixes contemporary design with traditional wood carving and carpentry, typical of Val Gardena.
Met by Susanna, guests are greeted by Italian sparkling wine and canapés on arrival and are looked after seamlessly by her professional, attentive and discrete team. Together with the butler, she'll show you around the chalet and introduce you to the chalet services and the area. She is often also on hand to organize activities and excursions and ensure everyone has everything they need. Guests stay on a B&B basis with use of the Pine Lodge kitchen as well as an outdoor barbecue and plenty of delicious dining choices within walking distance in the village.
The living area of Pine Lodge is on the first floor, making the most of the fabulous views. The chalet sleeps up to eight guests in four beautifully furnished ensuite bedrooms which all have access to the garden and terrace. The open plan living and dining area has a central log fire and floor to ceiling windows, opening up onto the terrace, providing unobstructed views of the breathtaking scenery. Pine Lodge is equipped with a professional kitchen, bar, in-home cinema with PlayStation 4 and kids games, small gym, a garage for up to three cars along with three outdoor parking spaces. There is free WiFi throughout. Guests looking to unwind after a long day hiking can choose between a Finnish, Bio Sauna, or Infrared, or relax in the outdoor hot tub or endless pool, whilst in-room massages and a selection of treatments are on offer from the Lodge's own therapists.
Selva Gardena is at the head of the Val Gardena, in the heart of the Dolomites, an area designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Dolomites offers dramatic landscapes with lots of sunshine and mild temperatures, perfect for outdoor pursuits. The Dolomites offers an array of activities from mountain biking to horse riding to rock climbing. The village of Selva Gardena (altitude 1563m) is legendary for its great hospitality and its exceptional location. And like everywhere in Italy, children are especially welcomed.

Pine Lodge is a member of the Val Gardena Active program meaning that guests can take part in various activities and tours free of charge.
Pine Lodge Dolomites is located on the south facing side of Val Gardena set amidst the Sassolungo, Puez and the Sella Massif mountains. The village of Selva Gardena is at 1563m and the lifts are just 300 meters away from the chalet as are a myriad of hiking trails. The famous Sella Ronda runs through the village.
E-biking is the perfect way to enjoy mountain biking in the stunning Dolomites without too much effort. Take in the incredible views as you explore the beautiful terrain on two wheels.
Geocaching in Val Gardena
One of the most novel ways to explore the beautiful landscape around Val Gardena is to have a go at Geocaching. This modern day treasure hunt involves using a mobile phone or GPS device to find various hidden containers or caches dotted all over the area.
High Ropes Park Col de Flam
Fly through the trees and enjoy adventures in the tree tops at the Col de Flam high ropes course in the Val d'Anna in Ortisei.
