A cozy haven of log fires, velvet sofas, warm woods, and traditional stone, Les Neiges d’Antan has been run by the local Bich family for decades. Rich in traditional style and heritage, the hotel has been updated by the current hotelier, Ludovico ‘Ludo’ Bich, to offer a pleasing blend of classic and contemporary décor and an intimate and homely vibe. Guests are welcomed with genuine enthusiasm and made to feel part of the family, as they relax in the snug lounge listening to the family’s extensive retro vinyl collection.

Each of the 24 guestrooms and suites have been individually decorated to enhance their individual character and features. Expect wood panelling, tartan fabrics, soft lighting, large comfortable beds with plush down bedding, Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, safety deposit box and modern ensuite bathrooms. Classic, Comfort and Superior Rooms sleep up to two guests and a young child and vary in size, although all are on the cozy side. Larger families can book a Large Superior, while the Deluxe Superior Rooms will appeal to the more design conscious. Alternatively, the Suite Deluxe is generously proportioned and sleeps up to four adults and a young child. The room rate includes a substantial breakfast, setting guests up for a day of mountain adventure and there is the option to book on a half-board basis. The atmospheric dining room is home to a collection of antique maps and prints and is a lovely environment in which to savor accomplished regional cuisine. The hotel also has a comprehensive wine cellar and a well-stocked bar. The wellness facilities and spa are superb, with fabulous outdoor features including a Turkish hammam, whirlpool tub from which to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and snow-melt ice bathtub. Inside, guests can visit the gym, enjoy a massage or beauty treatment, or sweat it out in the Finnish sauna. Les Neiges d’Antan is located a few kilometers below the resort of Cervinia and the hotel has a shuttle service to ferry guests to and from the town, for ski lifts, shopping, leisure activities and entertainment. Turin Airport is 90 minutes by car.
