A traditional gem! The Bauer Palazzo has such a grand feel; The rooms are true Venetian style. You can enjoy fabulous food at their restaurant and in the summer season you can enjoy this from their private terrace which is the highest in Venice with fantastic views over the Grand Canal.

This wonderful old Palazzo sits right on the grand canal so you can either get a gondola to the door or wander through St Marks square if you are arriving on foot. Venice is packed with culture and attractions so there is plenty for all ages to see. A trip out to Murano to see the glass blowing factory is great fun. As well as all the sightseeing don't forget to have a wander over the market on the Rialto bridge or the designer shops around St Marks Square. Venice is great for a city break - try to avoid the summer months though as it is very hot and crowded, and it also combines well with other parts of Italy
