Nordic climate - May, June and July are the driest months of the year. Mid-June to August is high season, but most highland tours don’t operate until July because of snow. At other times, many tourist facilities outside Reykjavík are closed. From September through March, the night is dark enough to see the Aurora Borealis. From mid-March to the beginning of June Deplar Farm is used exclusively as a heli-skiing destination.

Arriving in Reykjavik, you'll be whisked away to start your adventure with a bang, exploring the Reykjanes peninsula of south-west Iceland on an ATV. Discover Iceland's famous volcanic beaches as you drive across the dramatic black sand before heading to a more challenging landscape for an exhilarating off-road adventure. After speeding across the Icelandic countryside, return to Reykjavik to check in to the Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik and explore the city.
Located in the heart of Reykjavik, Canopy by Hilton makes for the perfect base from which to discover the city and southern Iceland. Contemporary Scandinavian design and comfortable interiors provide a warm and welcoming retreat after a busy day wandering Reykjavik's picturesque streets or taking in the incredible sights of the nearby countryside.
Spend your time in the south discovering truly remarkable experiences which take you away from the typical Icelandic tourist trail. There is a wealth of remote locations just waiting to be explored, and a host of opportunities for every season. For a real thrill, try snowmobiling across the surface of the infamous Eyjafjallajökull volcano, or fly to the secluded Westman Islands to get back to nature and witness incredible scenery, taking a RIB boat around the archipelago to spot the local puffin colonies.
