Take the ferry from Split to explore the beautiful island of Hvar, renowned both for its vibrant nightlife and its picturesque scenery. Begin in Hvar town where you'll enjoy a walking tour with your private guide, admiring sights such as the Cathedral of St Stephen, the Dalmatian Renaissance theater and the hilltop Fort Spanjola to take in the panoramic views of the town below.

Continue through Hvar to the peak of St Nikola, where you can admire the view across the island and pass through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Stari Grad Plain, the oldest continuously agricultured landscape in the world. Dating back to the 4th century BC, the fields here are still growing the same crops and are testament to the Greek agricultural system. Next you'll visit the Dubokovic winery to sample a selection of locally produced wines before enjoying a picnic lunch with one of Hvar's top olive oil producers.

Finally visit Stari Grad, the oldest town in Croatia, before taking the ferry back to Split.
