A haven for culture-lovers, Judita Palace's architecture has Roman, Gothic and Renaissance influences. With a pretty internal courtyard and overlooking the main square, the hotel makes a great base from which to explore Split's fabulous old town.

Located in the very center of Diocletian's palace and the old town, Judita Palace is a charming hotel which is just steps away from some of Split's highlights. With Peristil square and the Cathedral of St Domnius on its doorstep, Judita Palace can't be beaten when it comes to location. At the ancient heart of the city, Judita Palace is the perfect base for exploring all Split has to offer.

Judita Palace has an eclectic mix of styles in its architecture, from Roman to Gothic and Renaissance, with contemporary furnishings inside. Each room is named after figures from different eras who have all played a part in creating Split's history. The exposed stone walls are beautiful features in the bedrooms, which are thoughtfully designed with all modern amenities. The wooden shutters complement the stone walls, reminding guests of the tradition and history of the building and the city. Quaint and comfortable, the rooms are the perfect place to relax away from the busy city streets, and one room has a balcony offering views over the bustling piazza and the quiet inner courtyard.

This courtyard is a lovely setting for the hotel's restaurant, which offers one of the best seats in Split. From the moment that we called to tell Andrija that we were almost at the hotel to the time that we departed, Judita Palace felt like a home from home. Since the hotel is located inside of the palace and we arrived by car, a hotel staff member met us outside of the palace to park our car. We were then wisked away by golf cart through the narrow streets and alleyways to the historic Judita Palace, located on one of the main city squares. We received the warmest welcome by Andrija, the guest relations manager and he helped us settle into our spacious room. The hotel is decorated with antiques and traditional furnishings and our room had high ceilings and beautiful wood floors. The rooms have recently been refurbished and they are traditional but not fussy. We were welcomed for complimentary wine in the evening and the breakfast was simple and satisfying. The location of the hotel can not be beat and every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel and I feel it is the best of the best in Split.

A real haven in the heart of Split, Judita Palace offers respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in one of Split's main piazzas, Judita Palace is just moments from the winding streets of Diocletian's Palace and makes a fantastic base from which to explore. From the moment we arrived we felt instantly welcome, and the antiques scattered around the hotel really help Judita Palace feel more like a home. With friendly, personal service and spacious, comfortable rooms, Judita Palace makes for one of the top choices in Split.

I instantly loved Judita Palace as it had such a warm feeling of welcome as soon as you enter. The rooms are all a decent size and while you are in the middle of the Old Town, you can't hear a thing of the tourists in the streets below.
