Hemingways The Retreat is Kigali's first entirely eco friendly solar powered resort with an emphasis on locally crafted furnishings and bold colour schemes which reflect Rwanda's vibrant culture.
This luxury boutique hotel situated in a leafy suburb of Kigali offers eleven air conditioned rooms of two different types; Superior King Suites and Deluxe King Rooms. All room types have a private patio, indoor rain showers, and offer the option of interconnecting rooms. Superior King Suites are the more spacious of the two and offer an additional front terrace and an outside shower.
The Retreat hosts the popular Fusion Restaurant where you can enjoy locally sourced international and Rwandan flavours. The intimate resort also boasts a large outside swimming pool, a gym and a wellness centre offering spa services and yoga classes. The perfect "retreat" to unwind before or after your gorilla trekking adventure.
