Enjoy a beautiful Namibian honeymoon as you stay in some of the most scenic areas of Namibia. Flying between each lodge offers a unique perspective of the dramatic landscapes including the red dunes of the Namib desert, the remote Skeleton Coast and the waterholes of Etosha where you will end for a few days of safari.

  1. Fly into Windhoek

  2. Days 1-2: Windhoek

This Namibian flying safari starts in the capital Windhoek, staying at a small boutique guest house in one of Windhoek’s leafy suburbs. This is the perfect place to catch your breath, enjoy a good meal and get ready for your ultimate Namibian adventure. Rise early morning in time for your light aircraft flight from the nearby domestic Eros airport to Sossusvlei.

Accommodation: The Olive Exclusive (1 night)

  3. Days 2-5: Sossusvlei

On your descent to the airstrip enjoy wonderful views of the red dunes in the distance. Spend the next three nights exploring the incredibly scenic Sossuvlei area. Rise early to enter the Namib Naukluft National Park when the gates open to climb the huge red sand dunes and walk between the ancient scorched trees at Dead Vlei. Offering many wonderful opportunities for photos, this area has some of the tallest dunes in the world. To further explore the area, grab a quad bike or head out on a nature drive to take in some more incredible views where you could come across the likes of oryx, springbok and potentially even a bat-eared fox. This area is also home to the Sesriem Canyon where you could take some breathtaking walks and learn about the topography of the area.

    Accommodation: Little Kulala (3 nights)

  4. Days 5-8: Skeleton Coast, Namibia

Next up is a two-hour light aircraft flight to the remote Skeleton Coast. Offering unforgettable landscapes and a unique insight into Namibia’s desert adapted wildlife, the Skeleton Coast is hauntingly beautiful. Within the Skeleton Coast National Park guests can explore the diverse landscapes, take a day trip to the harsh coastline and witness some of Africa’s rare desert lion, elephant and giraffe populations which inhabit this region. With no other camp for hundreds of miles, a stay in this area really takes exclusivity to another level offering guests a fantastic insight into one of Africa’s most remote and wildest parts of the continent.

Accommodation: Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp (3 nights)

  5. Days 8-11: Ongava Private Game Reserve

Leaving the Skeleton Coast, you will fly by light aircraft flight south to the Ongava Game Reserve, bordering the south west boundary of Etosha National Park. The Ongava reserve is home to some of the best wildlife in Namibia and the flag ship camp, Little Ongava, is the perfect place to explore it from. With the choice of game drives on the private reserve or in the main national park guests can experience the diverse and dense wildlife populations with good sightings of rhino, lion, cheetah and leopard.

    Accommodation: Little Ongava (3 nights)

  6. Fly home from Windhoek

  • Day trips to Desert Oases

Enjoy a full day trip to Klein Oase and Auses Spring in a semi-closed safari vehicle. It's a fascinating experience to visit these oases in the middle of the desert and see the wealth of wildlife they support.

  • Game drives and nature walks at Hoanib

Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp offers a diverse range of activities to truly showcase the staggering landscapes and varied wildlife of the northern Palmwag Concession and Skeleton Coast. Game drives and walking safaris are two memorable experiences.

  • Hot Air Ballooning - Sossusvlei

Enjoy the rocky landscape and sand dunes of Sossusvlei from above, soar over the Namib Desert as the landscape changes colour as the sun rises. What better way to view them than from above, drifting gently in a hot air balloon?

  • Kayaking with Seals

The Lagoon at Walvis Bay offers a marine haven for birds and marine creatures. A morning kayak safari, when the water is calm is one of the best ways to observe the Cape fur seal colonies & flamingos. Dolphins and pelicans are also regularly spotted.

  • Living Desert Safari

This half day tour sets off into Swakopmund's desert terrain in search of its resident fauna. Your guide will seek out fascinating creatures such as specially adapted beetles, legless lizards and geckos. Particularly popular for families.

On the edge of the Namib-Naukluft are the iconic dunes of Sossusvlei, a dune sea slowly marching towards the Atlantic Ocean.

  • Skeleton Coast Excursion
