Best time to Visit

Good time to visit

Average time to visit

The best time to visit Paris is, of course, during the famous Paris spring between April and June, when the days are sunny but not too hot. Summertime sees higher temperatures and good sunshine and the autumn is also a pleasant time to visit. Provence has a mild climate throughout the year, the hottest months being July and August, and the coolest being January and February. Rain mostly falls during the cooler winter months and there is an average of only 60 days' rain per year.

This charming twin-centre itinerary combines two highlights of France, making a fantastic combination honeymoon combining the city lights and culture of Paris to the rolling hills and glistening coastline of the South of France. Starting in Paris, the city of love, soak up the Parisian charm in pure luxury before heading into the beautiful South where you can enjoy wine tasting in Provence and relax by the beautiful Côte d'Azur.

  1. Days 1-4: Paris

Paris is bursting with culture and is best discovered with a private guide, which we have included for you, for a true insider's look at the city's iconic sights or a more in-depth exploration of its galleries and museums. Combine this wealth of history with a romantic stroll along the Seine before watching the sunset from an exclusive rooftop terrace over a glass of champagne and you have the perfect Parisian experience. We can even suggest that special restaurant to mark the start of your honeymoon or organise tickets to a show, your itinerary will be entirely hand crafted.

Accommodation: Hotel Le Bristol (3 nights)

  2. Days 4-8: Côte d’Azur

From Paris you can choose to fly, take the high-speed train or drive through the countryside to the stunning and serene region of Provence where you’ll pass by century-old olive trees and enjoy views across the French Riviera.

The South of France is a haven of contrasting landscapes from Provencal pretty medieval villages with charming cobbled streets to the glamour of the Cote de Azur where the rich and famous come to berth their yachts and stroll along the designer shops lining the promenade.

From here there are endless activities and day trip to immerse yourself in such as exploring Antibes with its colourful market and Picasso museum or take a historical walk through intriguing Saint-Paul de Vence. Why not embrace the leisurely pace here by taking a bike ride, or spend a leisurely afternoon exploring local vineyards along the way? Of course, you may decide to simply head to the coast and enjoy the endless sea views whilst sampling the delicious local cuisine, here the choice is yours to set the pace.
