The Park Hyatt brings international standards to Zanzibar's historic and cultural center, Stone Town. With just 67 rooms and suites, and superb facilities, it is an ideal base for exploring the town on foot, visiting the historical sites, sampling the local delicacies and watching dhows sailing in the sunset each evening. The hotel is housed in two buildings, one of which is an old Zanzibari mansion dating back to the 17th century, centered around a peaceful courtyard.
There is a beautiful Anantara spa with three treatment suites, an oceanfront infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean and a state of the art fitness center. Guests have numerous dining options to choose from, with an elegant dining room, outdoor terrace, cozy lounge and pool bar. In-room dining is also available 24 hours per day.
All of the rooms and suites are spacious and modern in their design - the smallest room measures a generous 45 square meters. All have air-conditioning which provides relief in the more humid months as well as all of the other mod cons you'd expect from an international hotel, including a separate bathtub and rain shower in the en-suite bathrooms. The Park View and Park Deluxe rooms enjoy lovely Indian Ocean vistas, and the suites have private balconies.
