Only opening in late 2019, The Last Word Kitara blends contemporary luxury with a natural style for a safari with a difference. The lodge is set on the banks of the Klaserie River with lush gardens for relaxing in.
Built of stone with thatch roofs, the six luxury suites have been tastefully decorated in neutral shades with hints of color that have been inspired by the surrounding African bush. The suites are spacious with king size beds, two comfortable armchairs and en-suite bathrooms which feature both an indoor and an outdoor shower together with a separate Victorian style bath.
The main lodge building includes generous lounge areas and an inside bar opening up onto a generous patio area complete with a refreshing infinity pool built overlooking the riverbed. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining options together with a boma area guests will enjoy delectable cuisine and a choice of fine wines during their stay.
The lodge is run by an experienced management team and guests will enjoy immersing themselves in the magic of the Klaserie during morning and evening game drives on open safari vehicles or they can get back to nature during guided safari walks.
