Dhulikel was once an important trading center on the direct route between Nepal and Tibet and is still considered as the administrative center of the Kavrepalanchok District. It lays claim to one of the most beautiful vistas in the world, surrounded as itis by mountains and luxurious green plateaus.

As well as its impressive nature, Dhulikel is great for culture lovers, with Hindu and Buddhist temples to explore, including the Narayan temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Here, August is a time of celebration, as the people honor the anniversary of Krishna’s birth.
