The Movenpick offers 183 rooms and suites. While the rooms do not perhaps have huge amounts of character, they are perfectly comfortable, and provide all that you need for a pleasant stay for a few nights.
The main areas of the hotel are more Arabic in style, including intricate tiles and carved wooden panels and window trellises. The hotel has a good range of facilities, including an outdoor pool, fully equipped gym and steam rooms. There are a number of restaurants to choose from, including Al Iwan, which serves Mediterranean and Arabic cuisine by candlelight, the ornately decorated Al Maqa'ad Bar and the cozy Al Baraka Tea Room. During summer the Al Ghadeer Roof Garden provides an atmospheric place to enjoy a sundowner and live music.

Backdoor Walk from Little Petra

Petra by Night occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8.30pm. You enter the Siq, and the canyon which leads to the Treasury.
