Himeji
Located in Hyogo Prefecture, Himeji is surrounded by mountains and sea which lends itself a charming atmosphere. Most notably, it is anchored by the supreme Himeji Castle, which is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Himeji Castle is an outstanding example of traditional Japanese castles. In fact, it is among the best-preserved castles in Japan, having stood in its place for more than 400 years old despite the extensive World War II bombing and various natural disaster events.
