Sitting amongst terraced rice fields and beautiful jungle, the Como Shambhala Estate is a fly-and-flop resort promising a more personalized approach to a spa retreat than its rivals. The spring water is sacred, revered by Balinese for its healing properties and is pumped uphill to the vitality treatment pool. In the center of the resort is the peaceful spa offering traditional treatments as well as alternative treatments including reflexology, ayurveda and iridology. On arrival a consultation is offered and there are different programs available such as detox, stress relief, rejuvenation or you can simply just make use of the many facilities on offer and follow your own program. Daily classes are offered as well as private activities to explore the mystical surrounding areas.
An array of accommodation is on offer including suites located in one of the residences, each slightly different in style based on the four elements of water, fire air and earth. For those seeking absolute seclusion and privacy, the chic villas with their traditional alang-alang roofs come complete with almost all white interiors and stunning private pools. Dining here is not all about just lettuce but delicious, nutritious meals. Guests are assigned their own personal assistant for the duration of the stay who will encourage achievement of any goals set or just simply encourage relaxation.
