Located on the southern tip of the Peloponnese's Mani Peninsula, Tainaron Blue is a real hilltop hideaway and its tranquil atmosphere allows every guest to truly get away from it all. Tainaron Blue is housed in a 19th century tower typical of the Mani region, which has been completely restored to add modern amenities while keeping to the original structure and architectural style.
Tainaron Blue is home to just three rooms, each of which showcases original features such as the exposed stone walls. The rooms are all packed with history and character, offering views across the Ionian Sea or of the surrounding mountains. The Master Suite, located at the top of the tower, has its own private balcony which is the perfect place to sit back and soak up the views.
Outside, the infinity pool is one of Tainaron Blue's highlights. Offering breathtaking views across the water and the southernmost point of the Mani Peninsula, the pool is simply an incredible place to relax and unwind. The terrace has several tables and loungers offering both sun and shade, hidden between the olive trees. Meals are also taken here, or up on the charming veranda, where guests can sample a variety of dishes typical of the Mani region. Using local produce from the Peloponnese, the chef puts a contemporary twist on traditional recipes that are best enjoyed alongside the superb views. Topped off with a menu of local wines, dining at Tainaron Blue offers a taste of authentic Greek cuisine.
Although tempting to simply lie by the pool for the entirety of your stay, Tainaron Blue is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Mani Peninsula. The landscape is peppered with around 800 similar ancient stone towers as well as Byzantine churches, and there are several paths offering scenic hiking along the coast.
