Walking into my Inari Log cabin I was blown away by the size of the cabin, with a wide entrance hall and plenty of important space to peel off your outer layers with hooks and hangers for storage. The bathroom is vast with a typically Finnish wet-room style shower and an adjoining sauna, with space for the whole family. The downstairs double bedroom is snug, but there is ample space in the living area with a large sofa, which was so cosy to sit on at night once I lit the wood-burning fire and gazed out on the frozen lake. My highlight came just after 10:30pm when my Aurora alert suddenly burst into life. After quickly donning my warm gear I rushed outside and as I gazed upwards my breath was taken away from me as I saw a light shimmering in the sky. Stepping out further on the frozen lake there were only a few people around, but the vastness of the lake allowed me to enjoy complete silence to gaze up at the starry sky. The food was also fantastic here- the King crab Gratin starter being a firm favorite!
