Great Plains Young Explorers club

At select safari camps located in Botswana and Kenya, the Great Plains Young Explorers club offers a unique, exciting experience for children. The club provides an in-depth discovery of wildlife, the land and its people, and aims to show the importance of conservation through fun activities and adventures!
From Maasai beading to animal tracking, the club has a wealth of activities to suit every child. Learn Bayei and Maasai survival skills, such as fire building and making bows and arrows, and see if you can jump as high as the Maasai warriors! Test your cooking skills and treat your parents to a delicious bush breakfast cooked over an open fire with an expert bush chef. Try your hand at fishing from a boat or canoe, or explore the plains by bike for an extremely exciting safari! The activities available vary depending on the camp, but all are led by enthusiastic trained guides who will make this a magical experience for children, full of discovery and adventure.
Children will receive a welcome pack on arrival, complete with an activity book, Swahili or seTswana vocabulary, and a variety of games and puzzles. On completion of the program, children will receive a certificate to confirm their status as a Conservation Ambassador.
