Walking with the Kalahari Bushmen
The San interpret the signs of the bush like no one else, all senses build a picture of their world. Beyond this, on the hunt, San tap into the spirit world, entering the minds of their quarry. This natural understanding has to be seen to be believed.

Being on foot in the bush is one of those great experiences of sensory overload; the sights, sounds, and smells are so alien to you and me. Most visitors to Africa are fortunate to be taken walking by an expert safari guide; the things you can learn and sights you witness with these professionals are often memorable. However, if the opportunity arises to walk with the San, the Bushmen of the Kalahari, this is an experience not to be missed. These men and women are the original inhabitants of this land, and their relationship with their natural environment is phenomenal; they depend on their skills and knowledge passed down over millennia for survival. Their ability to 'run' a track, to find water in the harshest of environments, and to intimidate the largest of Kalahari lions—all with a wide smile and wonderful sense of humor—makes spending time with these people an incredibly rewarding and educational experience. Surely one of the most unforgettable experiences in Africa.
