Day 1 | Embark in Bali

Your journey begins in Bali, where a private transfer takes you to the port to board Luminara. Step aboard The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's elegant superyacht and settle into your suite, with time to explore the yacht's intimate spaces before departure.

Day 2 | Ta'aktana, Flores

Arrive in Ta'aktana, on the island of Flores, where lush landscapes, tropical coastline and traditional island life provide a fascinating introduction to Indonesia's more remote shores. Spend the day exploring ashore or enjoying the yacht at your own pace, before returning on board for an evening of exceptional dining and relaxed luxury.

Day 3 | Komodo Island

Today brings one of the most extraordinary wildlife encounters of the journey. Explore Komodo National Park in search of its legendary Komodo dragons, accompanied by local experts who bring the island's unique ecosystem to life. Beyond the dragons, discover the island's rugged landscapes and pristine coastline before returning to Luminara.

Day 4 | Lombok

Discover Lombok, where spectacular landscapes and traditional Sasak culture offer a different perspective on Indonesia. Venture inland through lush rice terraces, visit traditional villages and discover the island's long-established weaving traditions, or choose to spend the day enjoying the tranquillity and facilities of Luminara.

Day 5 | At Sea

After several days of exploration, slow the pace with a full day at sea. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, relax beside the pool or indulge in a treatment at The Ritz-Carlton Spa. Take your time over lunch, settle into a lounger with a book or simply watch the Indonesian islands drift into the distance.

Day 6 | Semarang, Java

Arrive in Semarang, a fascinating city on the north coast of Java shaped by Javanese, Chinese and Dutch influences. Explore the atmospheric Old Town, discover historic temples and markets or venture further afield to experience the cultural heritage of Central Java.

Day 7 | At Sea

Enjoy another leisurely day at sea as Luminara continues towards Singapore.
With no excursions to follow, take the opportunity to make the most of the yacht. Relax by the pool, visit the spa or enjoy a long lunch while taking in uninterrupted views of the ocean.

Day 8 | At Sea

Continue your journey through the Indonesian archipelago with another day at sea.
Spend the day exactly as you wish, from a quiet morning on your private terrace to an afternoon enjoying the yacht's restaurants, pool and spa. As evening approaches, enjoy another memorable dinner on board.

Day 9 | Malacca, Malaysia

Today, discover Malacca, one of Malaysia's most historic and culturally fascinating cities. Explore the UNESCO-listed historic center, where centuries of Portuguese, Dutch, British, Chinese and Malay influences have left their mark. Wander through atmospheric streets, discover colorful shophouses and historic landmarks, and experience the city's rich Peranakan heritage.

Return to Luminara in the evening for your final night on board, enjoying a farewell dinner as the yacht sails towards Singapore.

Day 10 | Disembark in Singapore

Wake as Luminara arrives into Singapore. After breakfast, disembark and meet your private transfer to your hotel.

With one night between your yacht and rail journeys, spend the afternoon discovering Singapore at your own pace. Explore the colorful streets of Chinatown and Kampong Glam, visit Gardens by the Bay or simply relax at your hotel.
This evening, enjoy dinner in one of Singapore's acclaimed restaurants before the next chapter of your journey begins.

Day 11 | Singapore & Board the Eastern & Oriental Express

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Singapore before continuing your journey by rail. A private transfer takes you to Woodlands Station, where the iconic green-and-cream carriages of the Eastern & Oriental Express await.

Step aboard and settle into your luxurious cabin as the train departs Singapore and begins its journey through Malaysia. Enjoy afternoon tea as the landscape changes from city to countryside, followed by an elegant dinner and evening entertainment in the Piano Bar Car.

Day 12 | Kuala Lumpur & Langkawi

Wake to breakfast served in your cabin as the Eastern & Oriental Express continues north through Malaysia. Today's journey combines the energy of Kuala Lumpur with the tropical beauty of Langkawi. After traveling through Malaysia's lush landscapes, disembark and continue towards Langkawi, where a private cruise takes you to some of the region's most beautiful waters.

For those seeking adventure, explore the marine life around Pulau Payar Marine Park, one of Langkawi's prime snorkeling locations. Alternatively, simply soak up the scenery before returning to the train.

Day 13 | Penang & George Town

Today, discover Penang, one of Malaysia's great cultural melting pots. Explore the UNESCO-listed streets of George Town, where colorful shophouses, historic temples, vibrant street art and exceptional food reflect the island's fascinating multicultural heritage.
Choose from a selection of curated experiences, perhaps discovering local art and architecture, exploring the markets or delving into Penang's celebrated culinary traditions.

Return to the Eastern & Oriental Express for your final evening on board. Enjoy cocktails, dinner and live entertainment as the train begins its journey south towards Singapore.

Day 14 | Johor & Singapore

Wake to a final breakfast aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express as the train travels through Johor, passing lush landscapes and rural scenery.
Continue south towards Singapore, where the train crosses back into the city and your Rail & Sail journey comes to an end.

A private transfer can take you onwards to your hotel or Singapore Changi Airport, depending on your onward arrangements.
