Buenos Aires can be visited year round however the warmer months are from October to April, with peak summer from December to February. Uruguay has a temperate climate, with mild summers and winters. The best time to visit, particularly to the coastal areas, is between November and March. Argentina and Uruguay are very popular between Christmas and February so best to book well in advance.

    Fly to Argentina's vibrant capital, Buenos Aires, a great to spot to kick off your honeymoon in style. Explore San Telmo’s cobbled streets, local markets, and contemporary art galleries and see the locals practice tango. People watch in chic Recoleta, marvel at the French classical architecture, stroll through elegant boulevards home to designer boutiques, and enjoy the street art scene in nearby Palermo before heading out for incredible steak and wine. We’ve included an evening at Rojo Tango, widely considered the best place to see Argentina’s intense and passionate national dance.

  3. Days 4-10: Jose Ignacio

    Escape the city and board a short flight from here to Punta del Este on Uruguay’s Atlantic coast. Private transfer to an intimate and boutique hotel close to the cool and fashionable Jose Ignacio. Spend your days poolside, take beach walks, go horse riding, surf or explore the amazing dunes of Cabo Polonio, and in the evenings, head out to Jose Ignacio to sample its numerous great restaurants and bars.
