Best time to Visit

Good time to visit

Average time to visit

The best time to visit the UAE is between October and November and then February and March, when temperatures hang around the mid-20s and the humidity is under control. While December and January are generally considered the best months to go, the weather over the last couple of ‘winters’ has been unpredictable with occasional cloud and rain.

The month of Ramadan means hotel rates are heavily discounted, but while outside the resort, Ramadan is strictly adhered to, within the resorts you will notice very little difference.

High summer (July and August) means heavy discounted hotels it’s a great option for a cheap getaway but it will be very very hot and very very humid!

To start planning your vacation to One&Only The Palm

Located on a peninsula of The Palm, Jumeirah, One&Only the Palm has a boutique and intimate feel, built in a Moorish-Andalusian style, with just 95 elegantly styled rooms, suites and villas, one of the few truly low-rise hotels in Dubai.

One&Only the Palm is built in a Moorish-Andalusian style and refreshingly is one of the few truly low-rise hotels in Dubai.

It consists of the three-storey Manor House, six individual low-rise mansion houses and has four private, beach-fronted villas.

Due to the property's peninsula location it feels like a very secluded, serene and relaxed haven outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The beach rooms have striking views of the Dubai skyline across the water. At night this view is probably the best in Dubai as the lights of the city reflect beautifully in the sea.

We highly recommend One&Only The Palm as the perfect place for getting away from it all whilst still staying close enough to all that Dubai has to offer.

The One&Only the Palm is peaceful, luxurious and classy! Relax on the tranquil beach or take the complimentary water taxi over to the One&Only Royal Mirage to use their facilities, you can also use their choice of restaurants on the half board basis. A visit to the Spa is a must!

Oozing class and sophistication, One & Only The Palm is perfect for couples wanting an elegant retreat from the city. Service and food are both exceptional, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed.

For me, The One and Only The Palm is the place to stay if you want an intimate resort in this vibrant and bustling city. As you step through the entrance you feel your body take a sigh and relax in to the sumptuous and tranquil surroundings that will be your home for the next few days. You will be pampered from every angle with absolutely nothing being too much trouble. Opulent in a very stylish way, nothing shouts out at you but total luxury awaits. For the ultimate accommodation the low rise beach front Mansions are a must.

The Palm offers a range of suites, Low rise mansions & private villas to suit all tastes. This hotel is very beautiful & sophisticated very elaborate & detailed dcor with a very dignified character. The Palm boasts a superb beach & offers a complimentary water taxi to the Royal Mirage for a change of pace.

Marina Voak (Staff)

This is definitely one of my favorite hotels in Dubai. It has a lovely exclusive feel and definitely a more boutique hotel with under 100 rooms, suites and villas - quite small by Dubai standards! Many rooms and suites are just steps away from the beach, If you want a change of scene, you can get a complimentary water taxi to its sister property, Royal Mirage.

Clare Monro (Staff)

One&Only the Palm is probably my favorite beach property in Dubai. It has a lovely intimate feel, and the style is very elegant. It's probably better for couples rather than families whose children would like a kids club and lots of facilities, and it's worth bearing in mind that children can't really swim in the main pool (apart from at the sides).

Jessica Cator (Staff)

The Palm is a wonderful combination of luxury, beach, quality and fun. There are options for families, couple and honeymooners here and enough space for all guests to feel exclusive. The One & Only The Palm has one of the best beachs in Dubai and it is wonderful to be on the Palm away from the hustle and bustle of the main city.

Dominic Atterton (Staff)

For me the One and Only does hold the crown as the most exclusive of Dubais top hotels. It may not share the outrageousness of The Burj al Arab but with only 92 rooms its much more personal and feels like staying in your own palace on the beach. I love the fact that guests have access to the larger Royal Mirage across the water on Jumeirah Beach so if you do want a bit more in the way of restaurant choice or water sports facilities its a quick hop across on the free shuttle boat. The dcor is more contemporary than others in Dubai and does luxury without being brash and showy whilst keeping a strong Arabian feel. Fantastic for couples looking to get away from it all and really relax, the pool is huge and surrounded by palms whilst the beach is golden white thanks to the creators of The Palm. If you are looking for some of the most impressive accommodation in the city then you should also consider their villas all of which lead right onto the beach (the only accommodation in Dubai that does) and are huge with private pools and their own kitchens. My only niggle the construction visible from the beach on the mainland but this is Dubai after all!

One of the most stylish hotels in a city where style is practically a competition, the One and Only The Palm certainly has the wow factor. Opulent marble architecture and luxury touches are everywhere, from the graceful marble interiors to the first class dining experiences with Michelin Stared Chefs at the culinary helm.

Rooms are naturally very spacious and light, and service is outstanding whilst never intrusive. To the exterior of the hotel, you can find the extensive pool and garden area which feels classically European in style. The One and Only sets the standard for luxury hotels on the Palm, and with some of the best views across the Dubai skyline this is certainly one of the most desirable addresses to stay at. Its hard not to be impressed by the sheer quality of the operation, and without doubt, if you are looking for the top level resort experience in Dubai, this is the place to come.

Daniel Smith (Staff)

I loved this light and airy boutique hotel, with one of the best restaurants in town. I'd recommend dinner at their award winning 101 seafood restaurant on the jetty looking out over Dubai's twinkling Jumeirah skyline.
