Owned by the Malmström family, Villa Dagmar was designed to reflect the spirit of the art-loving, well-traveled and sociable matriarch, Dagmar Bergsten. The vibe is la dolce vita, and the ever-changing contemporary art and vibrant bar scene were inspired by Dagmar’s hospitality, creative spirit, and flair. The courtyard architecture is from different periods in different styles and has been cleverly linked together by the huge glass ceiling, inspired by the British Museum. The interesting mix of shops, art, café, bar, and restaurant, creates a real buzz and this is a popular meeting place for the cultural cognoscenti.
