After a leisurely breakfast, stroll down to the stunning Falesia beach to spend the day enjoying the sand and sea however you wish. A large number of sunbeds offered by Pine Cliffs are available to use.
Pine Cliffs Resort is located in the most southern region of Portugal, the Algarve, famous for its almost constant sunshine and long sandy beaches. The resort is perched on beautiful red cliffs with stunning views out to the Atlantic Ocean, with green lawns and pine trees.
There is a variety of accommodation spread throughout the resort. Scott Dunn recommends the Two and Three Bedroom Pine Cliffs Residences which are located close to the golf course, tennis courts and football pitch. With their spacious living room with kitchenette, they give guests the flexibility of self-catering, and are perfect for families. We also recommended the Ocean Suites, contemporary apartments that have a 1,000m2 dedicated Spa area and the Garden Suites, where our newly built Scott Dunn Explorers Kids Club is located. There are a number of restaurants and bars to choose from (most with children's menus), ranging from informal international brasserie style to fine dining seafood and Mediterranean cuisine. Grab lunch at the Mare Restaurant, which offers local seafood caught daily - you can't get fresher than that!
The magnificent 6km sandy Falesia beach stretches all the way to Vilamoura and is accessed by a lift followed by a series of wide steps. At the beach there is a small choice of watersports on offer and a fantastic beach club which offers fresh fish and lovely salads. Tennis professionals are available for coaching all ages and abilities and there is a 9-hole golf course and golf academy, built on the edge of a spectacular cliff overlooking the sea.
