Teotihuacan & Mexico City Tour
Mexico City, Mexico City and Puebla, Mexico
Teotihuacan is among Mexico's most impressive ancient monuments, and this enigmatic Toltec (and later Aztec) ceremonial complex is just an hour from Mexico City. Get an insight into the awe-inspiring rituals of pre-Hipsanic Mesoamerican cultures.
The so called City of the Gods, Teotihuacan preserves the remains of one of the most important civilizations in Mesoamerica, and you will be amazed by the beautiful constructions and the mysteries held within the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Avenue of the Dead.
After touring the ruins you will return to Mexico City for a tour of the historic center. This will include the Zocalo (main square), one of the biggest public squares in the world. The Catedral Metropolitana (Metropolitan Cathedral) – the biggest church in Latin America, and Palacio Nacional (National Palace) – which hosts Diego Rivera’s murals depicting the history of Mexico. After you will visit the Museo Nacional de Antropologia (National Museum of Anthropology), located within Chapultepec Park and containing one of the world's largest collections of archaeological and anthropological artifacts. Afterwards, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
