This exclusive use property takes its design inspiration from the rock-hewn churches of Ethiopia made with local stone and timber. Nestled into the expansive rolling landscape, Arijiju feeds a love of raw materials and the environment with complimentary grassed roofs and solar power being the primary source of energy.
The main house features three stunningly decorated suites that share a beautiful courtyard garden. From this lavender and herb filled garden you are able to access the living space, kitchen, games room, library and even a cinema, all connected by exquisitely decorated stone walkways that lead to the swimming pool and poolside bar. In addition to this, there are two very private guest suite buildings which makes this the perfect property to host family and friends.
The spirit of Arijiju lies heavily on restoring the spirit and mind and this is at the very heart of the dining experiences on offer. All of the meals are lovingly prepared using quality ingredients and healthy, delicious recipes. Dining takes place is various locations throughout the property, be it on the sun drenched terrace while a herd of elephants wander past, alongside the turquoise waters of the private pool or even a rustic wild picnic in the African bush.
The focus on your spiritual wellbeing and relaxation doest end there, Arinjiju is host to The Retreat, a personal spa designed to connect you with nature. Along with a gym, yoga studio and a wood burning hot tub, The Retreat is home to a traditional vaulted hamam, rain shower as well as a tranquil treatment room offering a variety of treatments designed to help you unwind using traditional Kenyan ingredients.
A team of 14 butlers, personal chefs, private game rangers, ground keepers and house keepers are based at the property and are their to cater to your every need.
