Spring and autumn are the best seasons to travel to Venice, as the city is less crowded and the temperatures are pleasant. The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express runs departures between London and Venice from March to November.

Begin your journey back through time at London Victoria station, where you'll board the elegant Belmond British Pullman train and start your trip in style with a delicious brunch, complete with a Bellini. Sit back and relax as the beautiful English countryside passes outside your window.
After crossing the Channel, it's time to board the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Admire the original 1920s features and soak up the incredible atmosphere as you make yourself comfortable in your beautifully appointed cabin. By day it is set up as a lounge with sofa, footstool and table, while in the evening it is transformed into a bedroom with upper and lower beds and a small washbasin. Dining on board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is a truly unique experience. Dressed in your finest attire, you can choose to dine in the Côte d'Azur, Etoile du Nord or L'Oriental restaurant cars, before enjoying a night cap with your fellow passengers and the resident pianist in the Bar Car '3674' or the Champagne Bar. In the morning, you'll awaken to superb Alpine views, which you can admire as you enjoy a delicious breakfast in your cabin. Spend your morning relaxing and taking in the incredible vistas before a mouth-watering three-course lunch in one of the restaurant cars followed by afternoon tea in the comfort of your cabin. Finally, the journey comes to an end at Venice Santa Lucia Station, where you'll be taken by private water taxi to the sublime Belmond Hotel Cipriani.
