The best time to visit the Amalfi Coast is in spring or late summer, when temperatures are pleasant and humidity levels are low. In July and August the climate is hot and humid, while the area is busy with tourists. Hotels in the Amalfi Coast tend to close for the winter, starting in October until they reopen in late March or April.

Fly to Naples
Days 1-4: Amalfi Coast
Begin your romantic escape in Praiano, an ancient fishing village turned peaceful retreat on the bustling Amalfi Coast. Staying at the stunning luxury boutique hotel Casa Angelina, with one of the finest views on the Amalfi Coast; facing the sunset, it takes in the island of Capri's famous 'Faraglioni' rocks and, in the foreground, the town of Positano, one of the most picturesque on this breathtaking stretch of coastline. Casa Angelina offers free use of umbrellas and loungers at the Gavitalla Beach, down a long flight of steps beneath the hotel.This tranquil town is a little off-the-beaten-track and offers respite from busier destinations such as Positano alongside its fantastic views of the coast. Enjoy blissful days revelling in the peace and quiet at your hotel, exploring the charming restaurants of Praiano or venturing in to Positano to soak up the lively atmosphere. Visit a family-run limoncello farm, home to the famed liqueur. The family will teach you about how limoncello is made, including their traditional recipe, before you enjoy a delicious lunch complete with wine pairing.

Days 4-6: Capri, Italy
Time to reside on the idyllic island of Capri, known for its luxurious and glamorous feel. Capri Tiberio Palace is a gorgeous hotel located just ten minutes from the boutiques and restaurants of Capri Town, the hotel is an oasis away from the bustling main piazza, the perfect place to relax and soak up some sun.
Explore the island and you’ll discover its breath-taking scenery, particularly the spectacular view from the summit of Monte Solaro, easily reached by chairlift. Take to the water to admire Capri from a different perspective, and on board your private boat you’ll have the chance to admire the striking Faraglioni islands, which jut out of the water just off the coastline of Capri, and stop to swim in the sparkling blue waters at your leisure. Your captain will take you to some of the island’s most quiet and picturesque spots. Spend evenings sampling mouth-watering local cuisine and enjoying sundowners with the most fantastic views.

Days 6-10: Amalfi Coast
Return to the mainland for the final stop of your journey around the Amalfi Coast and stay in the picturesque town of Ravello.
