Wild Encounters: Temples & Tigers

Step off India’s well-worn trails and into a world few travelers ever reach. This remarkable journey blends the icons you’ve dreamed of, the Taj Mahal’s sunrise shimmer, Delhi’s timeless grandeur, with the untamed wilderness of Madhya Pradesh, where conservation, culture, and adventure intertwine. Swap crowded tiger parks for Satpura’s tranquil forests, where safaris unfold by jeep, canoe, horseback, and even on foot. It’s India re imagined: raw, elegant, and deeply personal.

The climate of Madhya Pradesh can be labelled tropical and monsoonal. Seasonal variations occur mainly in the form of three distinct seasons - summer, winter and monsoon.

Summer runs from April until June with temperatures reaching over 40°C during the day, while early mornings and evenings are pleasant, around 18-24°C. Rainfall is heavy in the monsoon season which lasts from mid-June until September. Winters are pleasant and the best time to travel is from October to March when game viewing in the national parks is at its best.

Please note the national parks in this region are closed during the monsoon season, from July until October.
