Traditional villages of Naxos
Head inland to your first stop, the village of Kaloxylos, one of the island's most picturesque towns, known for its charming architecture. Here you'll stop at a local home to sample traditional Greek coffee with dessert, before continuing on to Filoti. This area of Naxos is renowned for its numerous Byzantine churches dotted amongst olive groves, and after exploring the village you will make your way to Apiranthos, where charming Greek architecture and Venetian towers combine. Finally, you'll continue on past vineyards and olive groves to Halki, where you’ll admire the Byzantine church of Panagia Protothroni and learn about the unique citrus liqueur produced in the town.
