Golden Crown Glass Igloos

Golden Crown Glass Igloos are a collection of just 27 igloos, from where, with luck, you can spot the Northern Lights from your bed! The igloos are dotted along the ridge of a fell with stunning views over Finnish Lapland's unspoiled wilderness.

Golden Crown Glass Igloos
  • A stay in a glass igloo overnight means you can maximize your opportunities of spying the Northern Lights

  • These igloos come with showers and WCs so are more comfortable than most similar glass topped igloos

  • The igloos combine really well with a hotel stay as part of an exciting winter wonderland adventure

  • Expect amazing views even if the Northern Lights don't appear

For those looking to stay somewhere truly unique and hoping to maximize the possibility of seeing the famous Northern Lights, an overnight stay in one of Golden Crown's glass igloos is a must.

Each igloo has a central double bed with a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, some igloos can also accommodate extra beds added for children. Suite igloos also benefit from their own private outdoor jacuzzi. The glass roof reveals the amazing night sky, scattered with stars and, if luck is on your side, the dancing Aurora Borealis. The views in general by day and by night are truly magnificent as the eye is drawn across the unique landscape and undulating fells.

Expect incredible sunrises and sunsets, trees glistening with icicles and crunchy snow underfoot. The glass igloos are perfect for a one night stay as part of a longer itinerary. For adults and children alike we can tailor an amazing itinerary with huskies, reindeer sledding and snow-mobiling.
