Description
Finca Adalgisa is a traditional family-run small winery and charming boutique hotel located in Argentina's premier wine growing region outside of Mendoza. Finca Adalgisa is a great base for exploring the best vineyards in the area.
Finca Adalgisa is an early 20th century vineyard estate in the heart of Argentina’s premier wine-growing region, near Lujan de Cuyo. It is a charming, historic family home that was converted into the first boutique hotel and winery in Mendoza by Gabriela Fulotti (a third generation Argentinian/Italian. Gabriela takes pride in welcoming guests and lives on site to ensure personal and high quality service. The estate is filled with authentic artifacts of Mendocine culture including old photos, books and antique furniture, along with original architectural elements. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home, with self service drinks, complimentary bicycles, board games and the vineyard grounds at your disposal to explore.
Although secluded and private, Finca Adalgisa is conveniently located within easy reach of Mendoza and is in the heart of Chacras de Coria, a thriving village community with local shops and restaurants.
Finca Adalgisa has 11 comfortable en-suite guest rooms (in two buildings, the La Casa Vieja and La Casa de Piedra), 5 of which are suites. Interiors are each completely unique and feature local tapestries, overstuffed chairs, hand crafted wooden furniture and sometimes even private fireplaces and terraces. Reviews
Karen Chapman (Staff)
I wasn't sure what to expect from Finca Adalgisa as it's clearly very different from the other well known properties in the Mendoza area set amongst acres of vineyards. Nestled on the edge of the village of Chacras de Coria on a small parcel of land, it's true that it doesn't have the amazing views of the larger properties in the more rural areas but it has its own small vineyard and winery and a special charm that makes it unique. The property has been owned and run by three generations of the same family and there are individual touches throughout. I would definitely recommend staying in one of the Suites, which are rustic in style but feature all modern comforts. In the evenings guests can relax in the lovely lounge area and enjoy a complimentary glass of the hotel's own wine and a delicious tapa or head out to one of the local restaurants in Chacras.
